As a student that has graduated with a B.A. in Communication and Media with a specialization in Strategic Communication, I have gained the experience and knowledge that I need in order to successfully run a strategic communication campaign, create strategic communication writings, and run social media platforms from a business standpoint.

Over the course of my CMME 3301 Strategic Communication Campaign course in the Spring of 2021, I was able to work with two other individuals in order to create calculated solutions for a PNW-based marcom publishing website called MarketingNW. Their main goal was to bring in a new, younger target audience who are also based in the Pacific Northwest and have a passion or interest in marketing communications, graphic design, and film. Attached below is a creative brief that helped us when pitching our thoughts and ideas to a contributor of the website.

In the Fall of 2021, I was given the opportunity to be a social media intern for Full Life Care, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhance the lives of adults with chronic illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities. Alongside my partner, we were able to draft a pitch of what would be completed during our three-month long campaign with the organization. Attached below is the creative brief of which we presented to the marketing team at Full Life Care.

Social Media Management Experience

Beginning in October 2019, I took on the role of social media intern for the KXSU Facebook page. KXSU is a Seattle University student-run radio station. In the first three months of working as an intern, I was able to raise engagement on the platform by 80% in addition to learning how to read social media analytics, creating content for the target audience to enjoy, and supplementary digital marketing skills. In my CMME 3302 Social Media Management class, I was able to work with a team of individuals to navigate the world of promoting an organization through social media content and advertisements and learn to manage multiple platforms through Hootsuite. For this project, I worked on the Instagram platform with another individual as we created and published content for Instagram posts and stories.
